Delta Protection

Delta Protection means 30 years' experience in the field of protection of people, property and the environment. This expertise has been acquired through the production of equipment for protection against contamination in the field where the risk is greatest : the nuclear industry.

Delta Protection equips 75% of European nuclear sites with hermetic combination suits and miscellaneous equipment and exports its products on all five continents. Today, Delta Protection combination suits, hoods and air filtering systems are also greatly used in fields such as the pharmaceutical industry, hospitals and all industries where the risk of contamination is high.

Delta Protection has notably just supplied clothing and filtering and air supply systems to laboratory P4 of the Institute Pasteur-Merieux in Lyons, which is the most "dangerous" laboratory in the world in terms of risks of contamination, as it stores colonies of extremely virulent viruses.

Delta Protection's hermetic combination suit now available through Lynbond 2000.

Mururoa V4 F1

Description:

Garment approved for protection against radioactive contamination, of ventilated, pressurized type, for single use.
Designed for use on the breathable air network in nuclear enclosures.
This type of airtight coverall has a double back closure, an air regulation system and internal distribution.
Exhaust is via two patented magnetic valves.
This garment is fire-protected, and is principally made of PVC 20/100. Assembly by High Frequency welding which does not impair the qualities of the PVC.

BSL 4-2

Description:

This pressure suit was developed to meet the requirements of level 4 biomedical research laboratories (BioSafety Level 4) : unknown, emerging, collection, highly contagious viruses or viruses without any existing treatment.

This type of pressure suit has a sealed closing system, an internal air control and distribution system, an HEPA filter and a pair of PVC boots attached to the suit.

The exhaust is thought two patented magnetic valves.

This suit is made of fabric backed PVC assembly by high frequency welding designed not to be detrimental to the properties of the PVC.

It has been evaluated according the standard concerning clothing providing protection against radioactive contamination in the form of particles of the ventilated and pressurized type. It is of the reusable type.

Uses:

This pressure suit can be used in any type of laboratory where there is a high risk of biological or particulate contamination, accordingly the suit offers:

An excellent protection factor (>100 000) / Easy to put on and take off / Comfort (good ventilation, low noise level <70 dB, wide sleeves) / Wide field of view /Very good mechanical strength (abrasion, piercing, tearing...) / Light weight (coverall weight: 3.6 kg).

To facilitates its use, the pressure suit also has:

4 fittings for hanging it after use / 1 loop for the supply pipe / 1 inside pocket to contain independent voice communications system / Sleeve cuffs to permit the use of different types of protection gloves to suit to the type of work being handled.

Supplementary information:

The pressure suit is certified for an air supply flow rate included between:
Minimum flow : 470 l/min ± 10 % for a supply pressure of 5.4 bar.
Maximum fow : 950 l/min ± 10 % for a supply pressure of 5.4 bar.

Decontaminating the pressure suit: refer to the user manual.
Before using the coverall, the user must set up all the devices needed to check that the minimum airflow required by the manufacturer is reached or exceeded before and during the use of the equipment.
